Molly Bar

First opened in 1994, the downstairs bar is where it all started all those years ago. “Molly” bar is designed in the “Old Dublin Victorian” bar style and has just as much of the authentic atmosphere as you would find in the best pubs in Dublin. The range of quality drinks on offer is surpassed only by the valued regular customers, some of whom have been drinking in the Molly Malone’s ever since it opened. Here at Molly Malone’s the bar staff consider it an “honour” to serve the perfect pint of Guinness.

Alakerran baarista Mollyn legenda alkoi syksyllä 1994. Alakerran miljöö on ”vanhaa Dublinin viktoriaanista” tyylisuuntaa. Tumma puu, jykevä baaritiski ja ”snugit” (irlantilainen looshi) sekä aidot lukuisat astiaoluet, siiderit, whiskeyt ja iloisen kansainvälisen henkilökunnan palvelu luovat autenttisen irlantilaisen pubitunnelman.

After Bryan Adams finished his gig in Helsinki a few years ago, he dropped into Molly Malone’s. He was enjoying his stay and after a few drinks he started to sing at the table in “Molly bar”. Irish barman Declan not recognising who was singing asked him in a polite Irish way to shut up!

“Mollyn Huumoria”

Kun Bryan Adams oli Helsingissä esiintymässä, hän tuli keikan jälkeen Molly Malone’siin. Bryan viihtyi Mollyssa hyvin, ja muutaman lasillisen jälkeen päätti ruveta laulamaan. Irlantilainen baarimestari Declan, tunnistamatta kuka laulaja on, pyysi tätä ystävälliseen irlantilaiseen tapaan tukkimaan suunsa.
